We have our own Luton vans available to book, with the added advantage that as we are dealing directly with your sale we will know your exact moving date.
This service has been designed for homeowners and tenants who do not require the services of a full removal company but need assistance in moving larger belongings, for example sofas, tables, fridges, freezers, washing machines, beds, sideboards and wardrobes, to name a few.
Normally we find most clients who choose to self-move can transport smaller items themselves, but for the larger items they have to go through the process using a self-drive van with the added stress of arranging pickup and drop times, and potential damage to the vehicle.
We offer a hybrid service to take the stress out of moving. Our uniformed and fully-insured two-man team can be hired to pick up and drop off the more awkward and cumbersome items door-to-door, from single items to multiple items in the most cost effective and reliable way.

The cost of a property clearance can vary and we have found in the majority of cases the value of second-hand items will reduce our fees. If the value of second-hand items exceeds the cost of the clearance, we will pay the difference to our client. If the value of the items equals the cost of the clearance, there will be no charge, and when there is no second-hand value, only our quoted fee will be payable. All quotes will be produced in writing and carry a reference number.

Barrington and Blake Clearance Services feel a strong responsibility for recycling and disposing of the waste items we accumulate through our clearance service. 95% of items are either reused, sold or donated to charity. Items that cannot be recycled will be disposed of responsibly and legally.
We have fully licensed waste carriers and we are registered with the Environment Agency with full Public and Employers’ Liability Insurance.
